Pegasus Primary School receives free plants from Sainsburys at Castle Vale

Pegasus Primary School has received a donation of free plants from Sainsburys at Castle Vale.  Pupils, Joe and Lacie were excited to get the plants settled into the borders in the school’s courtyard garden and made sure to give them a good watering, even though it was raining!  Lots of the pupils at the school tend to the courtyard garden and they even grow vegetables, which are given to the school kitchen to incorporate into their menus or sent home with local families.

Vanessa Wardle, Principal said:

“Everyone at Pegasus wants to say a big thank you to Sainsbury’s for their kind donation.  It was wonderful to receive so many plants for our courtyard garden and Joe and Lacie, our expert gardeners, enjoyed taking care of them.”
